Peels
A chemical peel is a treatment in which an acid solution is used to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin. At Spa Natural, we apply hydroxy acids, such as glycolic, lactic and malic acids, to dissolve the bonds that hold skin cells together allowing them to shed.
A chemical peel enhances and smoothes the texture of the skin by exfoliation. Regular exfoliation speeds up your skin’s natural renewal process, helps to keep acne under control, diminishes uneven skin tone and discolouration, softens fine lines and wrinkles and leaves skin soft and glowing.
For best results, it is recommended that chemical peels be done in the fall and winter time, to avoid over-exposure to the sun prior to and after a chemical peel.
